Rising singer-songwriter Abby London prides herself on being a beacon of resilience and creative defiance. From overcoming personal struggles to embracing her artistic vision, she’s been hard at work perfecting her craft, and it all culminates in her latest single, “War To Peace”– keep reading for my thoughts!
The song starts with a gentle intro that encompasses the whole sound spectrum in how rich and wide the instrumentation is– adopting a mellow, downtempo sound filled with vocal chops that lay a solid foundation to the flow of the track– and when Abby enters with her vocals, her harmonies kick in at just the right time, as she delivers heartfelt stories from her persona; and while this happens, the harps and synths in the background create excellent atmosphere.

There is excellent control down low, with bass synths that retain a whole load of punch as they hit the absolute bottom end of human hearing- while Abby’s vocals keep the listener engaged, and may I say, hypnotised and in tune with the music. The production also gets props for its experimentation and overall great sound, with a wide soundstage and a warm, inviting mix and master that achieves great amounts of balance, coupled with an expansive, rewarding soundstage.
