Mood Swings, The ROLF’s latest EP, consists of four beautiful songs and runs for just seventeen minutes and thirty-six seconds. The EP starts with a rather groovy track by the name Tales of a Juggler, and it has a bluesy feel to it with bumpy drums and bass grooves that will surely make you feel like making some moves. The underlying guitar lines throughout this song add more to its beauty. Smile off your Face is the second song that follows and it has got a hard-hitting, gritty, classic retro rock vibe with a rather heavier soundscape. Besides the tight, groovy rhythm section, the guitars shine bright in this track as well with occasional lines with more dirt in the sound.

The third song of the EP, All ‘cause of You offers a much softer, calming vibes and the beautiful composition soothes the soul right from the start to finish. Keeping aside the composition which is brilliant, the lyrics, the vocals, and the overall spacey, breezy vibe just fill up the soul with utter bliss and freshen the mind to a great extent.
Following on, the final song of the EP, The Sorrows of an American is again on the softer side in terms of the soundscape but it also features Martin Q Larsson, a Swedish contemporary music composer who specializes in playing the trumpet and his mind-blowing artistry is what the listeners get to experience in the solo section of this song where his trumpet just takes the song to a whole level higher.
